R330 one way rental fee for rentals terminating in SA at a location 150km away from the original renting branch.
R800 one way rental fees for rentals from the Garden Route / Port Elizabeth to Cape Town and back as well as from Johannesburg to Western Cape, Kwazulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.
International one way rentals range from R1'000 to R3'300. No one-way rentals are possible to Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
Some car rental companies charge a fee of between R750 - R1000 for arranging cross border rentals to Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique.
R110 charge for delivery or collection within office hours (R220 for after hours, weekends and holidays) for vehicles delivered or collected in a 25km radius from the nearest rental branch.
Between R4.00 and R4.50 per km will be charged for deliveries or collections that are outside a 25km radius of the rental branch.
Extension rates, which are available on request.
R165 to R250 administration fee for any traffic offences.
R350 to R400 administration fee for damage and theft claims.

CAR RENTAL CONDITIONS:
Car Rental Services merely acts as agent for the rental companies. Your car hire is subject to the below terms and conditions. By making a reservation with Car Rental Services you are agreeing to these conditions. When picking-up your car you will also have to sign the car rental company's standard rental agreement. All conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

Reservation and payment procedures:
1. Contact us by email of phone to place a reservation
2. We will then make a reservation with the car rental company
3. Once your reservation has been confirmed we will email you a voucher
4. The voucher has to be presented when picking up the car together with your driver's license and your credit card.
5. Everything is payable directly to the rental company when picking up your car. No pre-payment is needed.

Important notice:
* The rental branches ONLY accept CREDIT CARDS.
* Debit cards, cash or cheques are NOT accepted.
* Make sure you have enough money available on your credit card to cover the cost of the rental, the optional extras and the R1'000 refundable deposits.
* Expensive extension fees are charged if you extend directly with the car rental company and not with us.

Cancellations, changes and extensions:
All changes, extensions and cancellations have to be done with Car Rental Services by contacting us during our office hours. An administration fee of R50 is payable to us for every change or cancellation. A penalty fee of R250 is payable to us should you not pick up your car (no show).

Driving requirements and minimum age:
A valid, unendorsed license is required. If the license is not written in English you need to have a valid international license. The minimum age for drivers is 23 years; there is no maximum age. If you are younger than 23 you can drive a rental vehicle, provided you have had your license for more than two years. A young driver surcharge is payable directly to the rental company for each driver under 23.

Insurance cover:
Super Cover insurance covers you 100% for damage or theft. All claims are subject to a claim handling fee of up to R400 per claim. The personal accident insurance covers you for disability, death and medical expenses. More details are available on request.

Factors that could negate all insurance cover:
* Gross or Criminal negligence * No other vehicle involved in the collision unless exceptional circumstances apply * Unauthorised drivers - i.e. names of additional drivers not listed on the rental agreement. * Not obtaining authorisation from the rental company to extend the rental * Not reporting damage to the rental company immediately * Not adhering to traffic, road and driving rules and regulations * Driving under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances * Unsuitable driving or road conditions * Unauthorised cross border rentals * Not being able to produce keys in case of theft unless exceptional circumstances apply * Not reporting exact details of the last known location of the vehicle prior to theft * Not reporting the loss to the rental company within 6 hours

Cross border rentals:
You must notify Car Rental Services at the time of reservation if you intend to travel across the border. Most vehicles are allowed into Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland and Mozambique. Categories containing the following or similar models are not allowed across the border: VW Polo Classic, Toyota Camry, Mazda 6, BMW, Audi and Mercedes. No vehicles are allowed into Angola, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The car rental company will issue cross border permits for each country you plan to enter. Should there be theft or damage in a neighbouring country the excess liability of that specific country will apply. When you pick-up the car, the rental branch will take authorisation on your credit card for the applicable cross border excess liability. Please make sure you have enough funds available on your credit card to cover these refundable deposits. Further insurance and cross border charges may apply for certain vehicle groups. Neither we, nor the rental company can be held responsible if a renter is refused entry into another country. Any Cross Border Charges are settled directly at the border. After the rental, all cross border documentation is to be left in the glove compartment or handed to a car rental representative. A penalty fee may be levied if the documentation is not produced or found.
