Tseamo is a dream come true - Sho't left, it's possible, lets waai, lets tour MZANTSI!. With Tseamo, Siphiwo Qumza has put his vision into reality, a vision of bringing travel and car hire services closer to the majority of the people, and at the same time to empower its staff with skills and development. Tseamo's target market is small to medium sized corporates and black empowered enterprises, government, schools, universities, churches and individuals. In the quest to fulfill his vision he teamed up with Christoph Joos to assist him with a functional and technically advanced infrastructure and travel industry know-how.
 
Black Economic Empowerment Policy
Tseamo is committed to establish enduring and meaningful Black Economic Empowerment and Skills Development within its own environment and the community. Tseamo is a Black Enterprise where the majority of ownership and active control is in black hands. Furthermore a quarter of the company is in female black ownership. Tseamo aims to facilitate growth and sustainable stability for its employees and shareholders and to empower its human resources with skills and development. Our empowerment policy aims to achieve the following:
 
Ongoing training and skills development for staff and management with meaningful training, career pathing, mentoring and planning
Empowerment shareholding; currently 51% black owned and 25% black female owned
Staff composition reflecting the society; currently 67% black
Procurement practices by assessing the level of commitment of the counter party to BEE
Prevent any type of direct or indirect discrimination
Commercial equity, forging business partnerships creating further empowerment opportunities
Social responsibility, forging partnerships with community centres, churches and schools by transferring funds and know how.
 
Company Directors
 
Siphiwo Qumza was born and raised in the dusty streets of Guguletu where he also attended all his schools, matriculating in 1987. After school he obtained a senior teachers diploma from Griffiths Mxenge Teachers College of Education, majoring in geography and Xhosa. Whilst being a teacher he studied part-time for a BA edu. degree at the University of the Western Cape graduating in 1997. Siphiwo was a full time teacher for seven years until he started working in 1998 as a sales representative for Freedom Stationery. In 1999 he and his wife started Nolibo Educational Services, a stationery and educational material distribution business. Currently Nolibo Educational Services employs 15 people, including 10 sales representatives, servicing the Western- and Northern Cape Provinces. In 2003 he obtained a diploma in business management at the Cape Technikon.
   
Christoph Joos was born and brought up in Switzerland. Still in school his family immigrated to Johannesburg where he matriculated in 1986. After finishing his three year ND in Company Administration and Law he went back to Switzerland where he completed a two year Allround Banking Diploma at the Union Bank of Switzerland specialising in derivative interest products, share and options trading and institutional banking. After more than three years at UBS he joined the corporate finance department of the Swiss branch of ED & F Man Investment Products, a London based international commodity house. At Man he was involved in the setting up and structuring of offshore managed future funds. In 1996 he and his wife returned to South Africa where they started up RCJM Travel & Tours, an inbound tour and safari operator to Southern Africa as well as Car Rental Services, a company offering low cost car rental and leisure vehicle hire.
   
Zukiwa Qumza was born in Eziphunzana in East London. She visited the township schools and matriculated in 1992. After school she obtained a diploma as fashion designer before she enrolled at the Eastern Cape Technikon for a three year diploma in Project Management, graduating in 1998. With her husband she started Nolibo Educational Services in 1999 and is now running Nolibo as Managing Director.
