RCJM stands for Reyni & Christoph Joos-Marais, the husband and wife team that founded RCJM in Switzerland in 1995, before relocating it's offices to Cape Town in 1996. RCJM is an inbound tour and safari operator to Southern Africa specialising in integrated travel and safari solutions for individual, group, business, leisure, adventure and special interest travel. Our focus is on mid- to upmarket individual and group travel clients, travelling mainly to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and East Africa. Our client base is made up of overseas travel agents and direct clients contacting via the internet from all over the world. Most of our clients come from the United States, the UK and continental Europe. RCJM does not publish any printed material but is constantly creating new web-sites and products and enhancing the current sites with up to date information.
Car Rental Services is a division of RCJM and operates as an agent for well known international car rental companies like Europcar, Budget and Avis. Car Rental Services offers low cost car rental packages that included unlimited mileage and all insurances. Car Rental Services currently arranges car hire in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho and Swaziland. Car Rental Services also offers campers, motor homes, 4x4's and luxury cars from all major airport and city locations.

Cancellations have to be done in writing and are only effective after we have confirmed them to you in writing. The following cancellation charges are levied expressed as a percentage of the tour price: If you cancel with more than 56 days notice - your deposit forfeited, if you cancel with less than 56 days notice - 50% of the total tour cost is charged, less than 21 days notice - 60% of the total tour cost and less than 14 days notice - 100% of the total tour cost. |

If a third party service provider or hotel has a stricter cancellation policy as set out above, we will impose that particular policy in case of a cancellation. |

Should you fail to join a safari or a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no refund can be made. (Please note that if you are holding adequate holiday insurance, your insurance company, subject to the terms of the insurance, should refund any such charges to you). |

Any changes made on confirmed itineraries will be assessed on actual penalties imposed on us by our suppliers, plus a $100.00 per person change fee. |

All payments are to be made by electronic bank transfer. Payments for quotations in ZAR can be made by credit card. No Credit Card Payments can be made for USD quotations, as we are not able to charge your card in USD. |

Tourism Bed levies: In South Africa a 1% levy per bednight is payable to the accommodation provider. Some providers include it in their quoted rates and some don't. Where the levy is not included in the rate it will be charged to you upon check-out. This levy is not refundable by RCJM. |

All clients must take out comprehensive travel insurance covering them for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment. Please check with your insurance broker as insurance obtainable in South Africa is not sufficient. Please also check your medical aid as these usually cover you on your journeys. |

Baggage on air transfers is restricted to 12 kg per person in a soft bag, including camera equipment and carry on baggage. Guests will be liable for extra costs for forwarding excess baggage. |

If your program includes a safari it is possible that you will be staying at a camp that is unfenced and that dangerous animals can and do wander through the camps. Many of the animals and reptiles you will see are potentially dangerous. Attacks by wild animals are rare. However, no safari in Africa can guarantee that such incidents will not occur. None of the RCJM group of companies, their staff members, associates, agents, or their suppliers can be held liable for any injuries caused during an incident involving the behaviour of wild animals. |
